The Fertile Earth ProFeeder™ installs in a standard valve box and can be installed in minutes with new sprinkling system installations or in less than an hour for retrofits. The device is powered by water flow so it automatically regulates fertilizer injection based on water flow. The Quick Connect system allows you to connect refill the system in seconds by simply attaching a new bottle of fertilizer. SmartFeeder is earth-friendly and safe for use around kids and pets.
Slow & Uniform delivery of nutrients: Plants respond better to smaller amounts of fertilizer delivered more frequently.
Delivers fertilizer through water: Plants absorb mineral nutrients (into roots and leaves) most efficiently through water.
Liquid Fertilizer is better: It has been estimated that only 20% of granular fertilizers are actually utilized by plants. The rest leaches out of the soil into ground water and contributes the accumulation of salts in the soil. Fertigation with liquid fertilizer increases the uptake and availability of nutrients in the soil without the accumulation of salts and toxins in the soil.
No staining, burning or overexposure: With fertigation, there is no risk of overexposure, staining or burning because the nutrients are so diluted.
Less Water: Fertigation stimulates deeper root development which increases the surface area for plants to absorb moisture and nutrients. Consequently, plants become more resistant to drought. With Fertile Earth, you'll use up to 30% less water.
Hardier Plants: When nutrients are delivered slowly and consistently, plants develop better root systems and generally healthier and are more drought and disease resistant.
