Nature Shield is a blend of essential oils from Garlic, Cinnamon, Cedar and Castor that synergize to make a safe effective pest barrier when applied through your sprinkler system. Nature Shield effectively controls mosquitoes, roaches, ants, aphids, white flies, gnats, snails, slugs, and other landscape pests. Fertilizer blends have 20% NatureShield and the NatureShield All-Purpose is a 100% concentrate. A good rule of thumb is to apply the NatureShield All-Purpose at 40% product to 60% water dilution rate during the heavy insect months.  The heavy insect months are traditionally in the late Spring to early Fall months.  In the Spring and Fall, use the fertilizer blends with NatureShield at normal fertilizer rates using the ProFeeder.  The ProFeeder will inject one gallon of product per, 12,000 to 14,000 gallons of water over the course of multiple irrigation cycles.  The number of irrigation cycles it will take to use one gallon of product will be in direct relation to the size of the irrigation system and the amount of gallons used per minute. Note:  NatureShield will not work properly in sub surface irrigation, such as drip irrigation.
