FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1) What is DRiWATER® ?
DRiWATER® is a patented time-release plant watering product. It contains
a combination of 98% water and 2% food-grade ingredients. The food
grade ingredients are commonly found in foods such as mayonnaise and
ice cream.
2) How does it work ?
Natural microorganisms found in the soil gradually break down the gel. As the gel converts
back to water, moisture is carried and maintained throughout the plant’s root zone.
3) When a plant needs more moisture, does DRiWATER® liquefy at a faster rate ?
No. Liquefaction is the process of DRiWATER® changing from a solid gel back into liquid
water. The liquefaction rates are predictable and are determined by the amount of
DRiWATER® that is exposed to the soil. If a plant needs more moisture, it may be necessary
to apply additional DRiWATER® or use supplemental watering.
4) Can I fertilize while using DRiWATER ?
Yes. You can use normal fertilizers and chemicals as needed. Fertilizers may cause
DRiWATER® to liquefy at a faster rate so it is important to check your DRiWATER® more often
when using fertilizers.
5) Can I over-water using DRiWATER® ?
You cannot over-water if you are applying DRiWATER® according to manufacturer’s
recommendation. If you are applying DRiWATER® to indoor container plants in addition to
your regular watering there is always a chance of over-watering. Please note hanging baskets
will need supplemental water during spring and summer months.
6) Is it safe to eat DRiWATER® ?
We do not recommend this, however, DRiWATER® is 100% natural and harmless to children
and animals.
7) Is DRiWATER the same as a polymer ?
No. DRiWATER is not an absorbent polymer. DRiWATER® is pure water.

DRiWATER Gel Pac
The 2” Gel Pac is the perfect choice for watering while you are at home or on vacation. Use it to water your small house plants, poinsettias during the holidays, beautiful hanging plants, and even your outdoor plants. Lasts for up to 30 days, so take that extended vacation you’ve needed, DRiWATER will stay at home and carefully water your plants.

1) Water plant thoroughly before applying DRiWATER®.
2) Open Gel Pac by cutting from end to end, pull sides of plastic casing apart to expose the entire length of DRiWATER®. The gel exposed when casing is pulled apart should be approximately
1½” wide @ the center.
Do not remove DRiWATER® from casing.
3) Place on moist soil surface with opening face down next to the stem of the plant without direct contact with the stem. It is important that the DRiWATER® touches the soil so liquefaction can begin.) Once the casing is sliced open, the Gel Pac’s are pliable and can be molded to fit the shape of the pot.
4) Check plant after 2 weeks. Replace when empty. Enjoy !

Small PT Delivery System
The 2” Perforated Tube & Gel Pac is ideal for long term and permanent use. The thin Perforated Tube with cap is ideal for use on deep pots. It allows the water to get right next to the roots. This system is conveniently camouflaged so that no one will know it's there. Designed for permanent use, additional Gel Pacs can be added when needed.

1) Water plants thoroughly before applying DRiWATER®.
2) Dig a hole that is 2" in diameter and 3" deep. Gently push the tube midway into the root zone, making certain it does not reach the bottom of the container. Lightly water inside the tube.
3) Carefully cut open the Gel Pac and remove from plastic casing. Make sure that the Gel Pac sinks to the bottom of the tube and touches the soil. Dipping the Gel Pac in water first will assure the Gel Pac goes all the way to the bottom of the tube. Replace the cap.
4) When the tube is empty, refill with an additional Gel Pac. Enjoy !

Quart
The Quart product provides sufficient water for up to 90-days directly to the root zone. The moisture is below the surface, so there are less pests and weeds. The quart carton is degradable too !

1) Dig a planting hole to the proper depth for the plant. Water the hole.
2) Carefully cut the bottom off the carton where indicated, exposing the DRiWATER®.
3) Place plant in hole and install the Quart as shown above. The bottom of the Quart should be directly against the root mass. When using multiple Quarts, place at equal distances around the plant. Backfill the hole with soil.
4) Water plant throughly. Enjoy !

2) Install the PT Delivery Tube and insert the Gel Pac.
3) For Hanging Baskets, plant the flowers around the tube. For trees, roses and vegetables, plant on either side of the Tube. Backfill the hole with soil.
4) Water plant throughly. Enjoy !
